Tips of How to Remove a Lace Front Wig

Many girls like to wear different beautiful wigs every day. But removing a wig will cost them some time. Not only does a lace wig look like your own hair, but if applied correctly, it can be maintained as a wash and go style for an extended period of time. You can change your hair with any style, texture or length you want. The hair piece can also be custom made and you can dye it with the color you like.

Here are four main instructions for you to take care of your lace wigs.

First, apply lace wig solvent. There are many kinds of solvents available in the market made for lace wigs. It will help to soften adhesives to remove the wigs more easily. Instead of a solvent, isopropyl alcohol will also work. Use a q-tip, make-up applicator or small brush along the front and the back hairline. Keep doing this until you feel the grip of the wig lessening enough to pull free of the skin. Take care when tugging and don’t tear the delicate lace.

Second, gently detach the wig. As tempting as it will be to just pull the wig off once the glue is loosened, that could be a mistake. Be patient with the process. Just remind yourself that you have spent lot of money on your hair pieces. If you carelessly damage it, replacing and repairing it could be expensive. With carefully care, use your fingers to grab one area and pull on it, and make you feel the glue loosen its hold.

Third, clean your skin. When you take off the lace wigs, the glue will left on the skin and hair. Olive oil is a much better choice for you to help you remove the glue left. Any kind or brand will do, as we merely wish to use it to make the glue less sticky. After this process, you can wash your own hair prior to re-applying the wig. Clean skin and oil free hair make the wig setting last longer and is just downright healthy for your scalp.

Forth, Wash and clean the wig. It’s better to wash the wig with a mild shampoo followed by a light, oil free conditioner. Use a wide wig brush to untangle hair and try not to pull on the unit. Make it to dry in the air. If you are in a hurry, you can use a hooded dryer. Enjoy the process of remove the lace wigs.
